Got this to help me get my difficult cat to the vet. She still managed to break my skin through the thick plastic with her claws. And still had to go to urgent

Got this to help me get my difficult cat to the vet. She still managed to break my skin through the thick plastic with her claws. And still had to go to urgent care for the bite she gave me on my finger. The scratches would have been worst if I didn't have this but it didn't protect me as well as I hoped.

First thing to clear up is that these are sold in pairs even though the picture only shows one. The sleeves fit my wife perfectly and are nice and snug for me. I

First thing to clear up is that these are sold in pairs even though the picture only shows one. The sleeves fit my wife perfectly and are nice and snug for me. I don't have large forearms or biceps so didn't have any issues pulling them all the way up. I've used them when washing both my cat and my rabbit (poopy behind) with success and no scratches at all. The blue parts of the glove are vinyl or some other heavy material and resisted my pets' best attempts at meting out retribution. Overall very satisfied with this purchase even though they are more expensive than kevlar sleeves. They seem very well made and should last for years.

fits well - thumb exposed is an issue!

works to clip my cat's nails, however the exposed thumb is much more of a problem than I thought! Will have to find a way to cover my thumb if I'm going to use them

I like the Bitebuster but I have a very friendly two year old male Maine Coon who is not keen on me touching his belly or his feet. When claws don’t get the job done, next comes the teeth. I am a bit concerned that one day, he may get my unprotected fingers. The covered areas are protected.

Full on kitten came with a big personality and not fond of his crate for doctor visits. I skipped the CLAWS the second time with these gloves. Kitten will become acclimated to crate without me yelping. These are not too tight and I was able to easily fold down hand to accomadate short fingers as well as fold down the top (yup short arms!).
