Hello, is this food considered human grade?

The meat, poultry, and fish used in LIBERTY diets, including LIBERTY Original Puppy Recipe, is USDA inspected and approved. LIBERTY can not, however, claim human grade since their food is made in a pet food manufacturing facility.

Are the yellow peas in the ingredients chickpeas?

The yellow peas used in this food are specifically yellow peas, not chickpeas. Yellow peas are slightly higher in protein and are pale yellow in color.
