Feeding Instructions
Feed at least 2 times per day, only as much as the Koi can consume within 10 minutes. If there is still food left after 10 minutes, you have fed too much and should remove the excess.

High quality for nice fish
The food is great. Recently started getting this from Chewy to save some money. Blackwater said it's the same, just higher profile with the Chewy distribution.

I question the the length of the use by date can I trust it?
Wheat germ fish food in particular is susceptible to boll weevils hatching and growing out of it. One has to question the use by date being so far in the future
Wheat germ fish food in particular is susceptible to boll weevils hatching and growing out of it. One has to question the use by date being so far in the future. Did the company decide to just change the numbers so their product seem to last longer? Until you had boll weevils crawling all over your house or where you keep your fish food you will know the pain of chasing those little critters all around. We feed our fish over 200 lb of food a year, yes we have a lot of big fish. Wheat germ food in the late fall in early spring and a higher protein food through the summer and early fall. Wheat germ fish food is necessary for fish health but can create the problem of the boll weevil invasion if not used within 6 months. The used by date on our last bag was well over a year so I have?????.
