Choosing the right dog food is always a hassle between your dog's preference, health benefits, ingredients, etc. However, this grain free food seems to check every box my dog requires. My girl is getting up there in age and sometimes has issues with hard food, but this food is a nice smaller size, and easy for her to chew. She's only been eating it for a few days, but there are already noticeable differences in her skin and coat. The price tag does sound a little high, but I'm willing to pay a little more money when the food has a positive impact on my dog.

Little dogs, big dogs, and in between - all my dogs gobbled the Blackwood Chicken and Field Pea food! No topper needed for my picky Shih Tzu. The bigger dogs enjoyed it as well, but the little guy is an older gent who sometimes leaves his bowl full. You can hear them happily crunching and munching away! Looks like a very healthy recipe too.

Our rescue dog, Marley, has been enjoying this food as a treat since it’s such a small bag. When it first arrived, I thought the cats were going to take me down to get to it! Marley wasn’t sure about it at first, but once she finally tried it, she seemed to really enjoy it. The kibble was of a decent size, roughly dime-sized and not too thick. Sorry, but I forgot to get pics before Marley finished it. It had the typical dry-dogfood smell, but not too strong.
