We have four dogs and all of them excitedly hopped to their food bowl when adding this food as a food topper or mix-in. We have one older dog that struggles to want to eat the same hard dog food all the time, and we’ve tried soft food and broth added to no avail. With this in his bowl, he happily waited for his food to be set down so he could eat every bite of this. Every bowl was licked clean each and every time we fed this food. Our husky did hops and swirls and zoomies to his kennel knowing this was in his food! We laughed at how excited they all got for this product. We also used it as a training treat, which getting a husky to do anything for you is a challenge. I would highly recommend this as a food topper or nutritional training treat, which were the two ways we used it. Going to buy some more now…

These were a big hit!

This is a very versatile product, it can be used as a meal, a treat or a kibble topper. Since my dog is 100 lbs, it wasn't practical to use it as a complete meal

This is a very versatile product, it can be used as a meal, a treat or a kibble topper. Since my dog is 100 lbs, it wasn't practical to use it as a complete meal. He's a pretty good eater with his regular kibble/wet food, so we decided to use these as treats. I thought they might be too small for him but actually he was really into them regardless of the size! If you have a very small dog they could very easily be cut in half if needed. This product is made in the USA and smells like fish to me so they are very attracted to them. They are super motivating as a training treat!

I really like this meal topper. It smells like fish- hence the ingredients. Does not contain fillers or nasty ingredients. It’s a moderate size bag. Most food toppers

I really like this meal topper. It smells like fish- hence the ingredients. Does not contain fillers or nasty ingredients. It’s a moderate size bag. Most food toppers are tiny little bags but not this one. The only thing I don’t like is the pellets are pretty hard. The instructions say to rehydrate with warm water. I put hot water on them and after 5 mins they aren’t dissolved by themselves. I have to chop them up. My dogs like the taste and I appreciate the benefits of omegas from the salmon

Fun option to give variety

My dog really enjoyed this food topper. It's hard to tell sometimes because I've never seen him turn food down, however, we used it as a treat a couple of times

My dog really enjoyed this food topper. It's hard to tell sometimes because I've never seen him turn food down, however, we used it as a treat a couple of times and he definitely acted like it was high value treat. I like the ingredients that are listed, and that cod and salmon are the first two ingredients. I would be happy to feed this to him again. I like that it's an easy way to give him variety and nutrition on top of his usual food.

My two dogs that I gave this to went nuts over it. The smell is enticing for them. I used it as a meal topper but you could definitely use these as treats or training

My two dogs that I gave this to went nuts over it. The smell is enticing for them. I used it as a meal topper but you could definitely use these as treats or training treats. They’re hard so not good for my third pup who is a senior with few teeth left. I may try crushing a few to see if she’ll be able to eat it as this particular flavor would be great for her skin and coat. I’ll definitely be purchasing this as a meal topper. Ingredients are great and like I said, my dogs absolutely love it! They clearly get more excited with their meal when they smell I’ve added some to their food.

Eleven year old, 111 lbs. Baxter has IBD and cannot eat beef or chicken. He CAN eat salmon and cod so these are a great thing to add to his daily kibble. They have omega-3 fatty acids to naturally help keep Baxter's skin and coat healthy. He loves them! I was giving Baxter them as a treat too (check out the picture). I feel good adding something so healthy to his routine.

Great Allergy Free Treats

I would have given these 5 stars except they are a little bit too large for tiny mouths. They DO crumble easily into a powder if you want to sprinkle it on top of

I would have given these 5 stars except they are a little bit too large for tiny mouths. They DO crumble easily into a powder if you want to sprinkle it on top of food. I have arthritis and am able to do it with my fingers. The treats do not have a strong fishy smell which is appreciated by family members. Good amount of treats for the price. I was surprised by how large the bag was. No chicken, no soy, no wheat or the other allergens typically found in treats. I recommend these treats unless you have a very small dog.

I have three dogs and only one of them dug right in and ate the bowl of food where I sprinkled these on top. The other two were dubious. One eventually ate hers

I have three dogs and only one of them dug right in and ate the bowl of food where I sprinkled these on top. The other two were dubious. One eventually ate hers but the third was a really hard sell and he took much longer. Not sure if it's the very strong smell or something else that is turning them off. This gives off an extremely strong fishy smell. I already feed them a salmon based dry food but it does not knock you back when you open the bag like this does.
