Up to 20 weeks of age, feed as much as your kitten will eat in 3 or 4 feedings per day. 21 to 30 weeks of age, feed 2/3 can per lb. of body weight per day. 31 to 52 weeks of age, feed 1/2 can per lb. of body weight per day.
Note: Individual kitten’s requirements may vary from this chart due to age, breed, environment and activity level. Adjust food as required to maintain optimal body condition and ask your veterinarian if you are unsure. Refrigerate unused portion.
I feed my kitty the shredded ckicken and rice in gravy but thought i would try something less expensive. I dont believe the product itself is bad, but she will not eat this.
Bought this for my bottle babies to wean them onto instead of my usual Friskies turkey pate, thinking because it was made for kittens that it would be gentle on their stomachs. They gobbled it up and then… the poo-splosions happened!! It got so bad it was straight up tan water coming out and their little butts are so raw … I’ve got them with me at the vet where I work getting anti diarrhea paste every 4 hours. Do not recommend at all. Next time I’ll stick to the Friskies turkey - have never had this issue with that food (unless it is parasites) and I’ve been raising bottle babies for almost a decade!
My kitten was supposed to be 12 weeks old but she was tiny for her age 1.1 lb I put her on this wet food she 2.6 in 2 weeks !
My kitty could not tolerate this food. It was too dry for him and he cried for something else.
Cannot believe they are putting carrageenan in kitten food. This is toxic. Here are the results of a quick search: "Products with carrageenan may be labeled as “natural,” but limited studies show that carrageenan may promote or cause: inflammation bloating irritable bowel syndrome glucose intolerance colon cancer food allergies Increased inflammation can lead to a greater likelihood of other diseases, such as: inflammatory bowel disease arthritis tendonitis chronic cholecystitis, or gallbladder inflammation"
Now even though my cats did not try this They received such a wonderful free surprise package in the mail that had the same ingredients as this the only thing that's different is the packaging that's why I gave the Stars I did because I know how my cats like this from the clean bowls to hear in the package opening to come running into eat it I like it because of natural ingredients because of the easy accessibility of getting it plus I love how it comes in cases or small amounts this was definitely two thumbs up and two paws up
Didnt seem to care for the healthy growth cans. They just kept smelling it and acting like they wanted to take a bite but wouldnt. They finally Walked away
We make sure we have "Baby Blues" on hand, as they are well rated. They are a bit pricey, but if the kitten is slow growing or stuggling it is worth it.
My very young kittens are now thriving and growing on this selection. We lost the mother they were only 4 weeks old but they dove into this food.
I received this product for free through a sponsored program. My kitties were not a fan of this food. I tried letting them eat this whole and mushed up and they were not having it. My adult cat tore it up though. Maybe my kitties just didn’t care for the flavor. I would say if your gonna to test it out then I wouldn’t buy a hug pack. I would recommend this for the adult cats though just because of the healthy ingredients.
