I give our dog (mini Goldendoodle) red meat kibble ..no chicken since she has skin allergies. I put the Beef stew from Blue Buffalo (1/3 can) on top of kibble add some warm water and stir it up. On the bottom I had crushed up her pill for allergic dermatitis ..so with the Beef Stew to add gravy and a few veggies too, she gobbles it all up. She looks forward to her dinner.
In my case for some years, I've had to add something to most canned dog foods to encourage my dogs to eat it. For example, to canned chicken, I've had to add snippets of pure chicken that I've cooked. To canned turkey, turkey bacon. To canned beef, freshly cooked burger meat. The only brand they will eat without any addition is BLUE. Saves me a lot of time and expense.
My yorkies are not fond of this food. They seemed tired of their old food so I am trying to find a tasty canned food for them.
My dog loves variety between Blue Buffalo and dried dog food using just a tablespoon of wet dog food. All cans in tact, none were damaged or dented, thank you
Our 3 little people loved this dog food, however after some researching, Blue Buffalo appears to be linked to possible heart failure. Too bad, my kids love it but we won't be buying it again
Our dogs love Blue Buffalo. I had also ordered another brand but before I received it we determined that they were allergic to it. When I called Chewy to see if I could exchange it they told me to donate it to a shelter. Our local Humane Society was very grateful and told me they loved and appreciated Chewy very much.
My girls love this. I give them this twice a day with their other food. They like the gravy.
Jethro is an ancient hound dawg in ALL ways. However, with his advanced aged he finds it difficult to eat his kibble or even want to. This wonderful addition with a splash of warm water added to his kibble was a success. He now eats with gusto and even licks his bowl. I will continue to buy this for him!
I am looking for something that resembles beneful prepared meals but has a little better ingredients and is packaged in cans instead of plastic. This is for a topper for the dog food. I am very happy with one , but it's quite expensive. So I tried this. The food is in cubes rather than shreds, there aren't many vegetables that show, it isn't quite there. But it's decent and usable and in cans. Cans can actually be recycled.
I have two dogs, one big and one small and they both eat this. They love it.
