Quality Treats -- My Dog won't eat
I decided to try these out when I couldn't get the normal and pricer dental treats I usually buy for my dog on sale. Chewy usually has regular sales for me to stock up on them but hadn't for a while so I decided to explore other options. My dog can occasionally be picky (he hates Greenies), but I was surprised that he wouldn't even try these. Just looked at me wondering if I understood the English word "treat" because this was NOT that to him. Thankfully my sister's brother-in-law's dog eats everything so I know they will get used. Blue is a quality brand and I think the treats are too, but my pup does not concur -- which is the only reason for the 3 star review.
Dog loves these
My Shih-Tzu will dig through a puzzle to get to these treats. She gets one every day to help keep her teeth clean and has learned how to get to them quickly when they are buried in a puzzle. She gets impatient while I am putting them in the puzzle.
caution
My 4 year old Rottweiler loves these treats in the big bone size for his weight. My 10 year old 5-6lb Maltese loves them but started to have bloody diarrhea once she started getting these treats. She eats and drinks and is active as if she’s a little puppy but once these treats were introduced to her in the mini size for her weight the diarrhea and bloody diarrhea started. Would not recommend for older dogs.
Chewy always comes through!
I ordered these at the last minute, thought I would run out! But they came the NEXT DAY!! Woohoo! I love your products, your website, and your customer service. Oh, and these dental bones are great.

We have two Morkies. One loves these. The other finds them way too difficult to chew. They are harder than Greenies. Can't confirm they are doing anything to help the teeth, but the one pup waits for them every evening, so at least it's a good treat!
Blue Buffalo is best
My Beagle is working on 15 and has had teeth removed but these dental bones seem to help him keep his teeth clean
Haven't Offered These Yet
. . . but other Blue Buffalo products we've tried so far have been of the highest quality. With one of our dogs afflicted with diabetes & resulting cataracts & blindness, & now glaucoma in one eye, finding safe foods & snacks for him is murder. These are free of several no-nos, but the vegetable glycerin (sugar) content (also present in similar snacks from other brands) could be a problem. Can't give a 5-star review until we know . . .
Wonderful for young dogs
I have two rescue pups...one 4 and the other 14. The 4 year old absolutely loves them and her teeth can use the cleansing. My 14 year old cannot chew them....would love a version for old dogs with tender teeth and gums.
