Special Treat for our Chihuahuas.

Our two Chihuahuas love this chunky brand food. They split one package once a week for their "breakfast". Otherwise, they normally eat Blue Buffalo kibble. The price was great compared to big box pet stores, and we were able to automatically re-ship before we expect them to run out. They'll never go without.

Not For My Aussie

I usually order the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Trail 3.5 oz. trays to mix in with my 2 year old 55 lb. Aussie’s dry food. He loves those but they are pricey so I thought I would try these which were about half the cost. Unfortunately, he didn’t like them so back to the Wilderness trays. These looked and smelled okay but he is a picky eater and just wasn’t interested.

Disappointed in the size of the container. I will go back to my other brand but went out on a limb to try something new. The flavor "filet mignon" got my attention, but alas, it wasn't up to par.

Not as nutrient dense

I tried these because they were cheaper than the Merrick cups we always got. He snubbed them for a while but got used to the taste. I’d always done 1 cup morning and night and he kept perfect weight. He seemed starving after finishing one of these. There’s about 25% fewer calories in these than Merrick, so I had to supplement with other food to make up the calorie difference. The cost per calorie is almost identical but I know he is getting a better quality product with Merrick and I don’t have to add 60 calories into his diet every day so we switched back.

There are fussy eaters and then there's MY dog, who will go without before she eats something she isn't crazy about. It can't be mediocre--she has to love it. She has a lot of health issues and I mix some of her meds in her food so it was imperative to find a food she'll devour. I'm very happy to see her eat every single morsel. My only complaint is that they need to change the packaging! I have so much trouble peeling away the cover! It's just a flimsy cover but it is SO difficult to remove. It takes a lot of finger power to bend it backwards but as soon as it comes off, there's a "burp" from the juice contents and it has gotten on my clothes, the floor, the countertop . . . just wish they'd There are fussy eaters and then there's MY dog, who will go without before she eats something she isn't crazy about. My dog is fussy he likes to mixed it up so I give him this after he has had a cesar brand with a different texture. He also likes to eat in different areas of the house. I know he is fussy but I love him.

I love Blue Buffalo products. My dog (shorkie mix) is super picky and he will not eat it. The food looks good and I wish he would eat it because I know it is one of the better products for dogs.

I was pleased with the size and packaging of the food, but my dog was not. He sniffs and walks away. I wasted my money. I have a Morkie so I'm not certain what the problem is, but he does not like it at all.
