What is the country of origin for ingredients?

Blue Buffalo foods all are manufactured here in the USA, with the exception of Tastefuls Purees and the Basics Pouches. Many of the ingredients, such as grains and most of the meats, come from the USA. The lamb and venison can be free range from the USA or New Zealand. The rabbit is sourced from Europe. The trout can come from the USA or Canada and the wild boar can come from the USA or Australia. Where possible, Blue Buffalo's suppliers are instructed to source their ingredients from the US. Where the ingredients are not readily available in the US, such as many vitamins, minerals and nutriceuticals, the suppliers will only work with reputable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of the primary ingredients are sourced from China. All of the ingredients are USDA approved and inspected.
