Where are the ingredients sourced from?

All Blue Buffalo products are manufactured in the United States. Blue Buffalo sources as many ingredients as possible from the U.S. Most of their grains and meats come from the USA. There are occasions when they source meat from other countries. For example, the lamb we use can be free range from the USA, Australia, or New Zealand. When the ingredients are not readily available in the U.S., such as vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, their suppliers work with only reputable foreign companies and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of these meats or grains are sourced from China. All of the ingredients are USDA or FDA-approved and inspected as applicable.

Using corn?

15 years ago or so I read that blue buffalo was caught using corn. I buy it because my cats like it and I'd like to think the ingredients are better than the others

15 years ago or so I read that blue buffalo was caught using corn. I buy it because my cats like it and I'd like to think the ingredients are better than the others. In my heart, I know it's not true, but I haven't found an alternative. I hate the kibble size and other companies are doing the same, but even smaller. They're all overpriced anyway. The real kicker is that the deer and turkey eat this food when I leave it out for the feral cats. This to me is proof that they are still using corn. I just thought I'd pass my observation along.

I will not buy this again for our cats. It was recalled because of metal in the cat food. This isn't the first time Blue Buffalo has been recalled, I found out. Chewy was wonderful and refunded our money. I will stick with Tiki Cat Born Carnivore cat food, they have never had a recall on their cat food.

Always a hit with the kitties. I get this flavor specifically for the outdoor strays so that I know they're getting enough protein but my indoor cats like it enough

Always a hit with the kitties. I get this flavor specifically for the outdoor strays so that I know they're getting enough protein but my indoor cats like it enough too, so much that they'll literally tear open the bag if I leave it out overnight. I wouldn't say it's good as an exclusive meal for cats, they still need wet food and more balancing especially since this one has such a high amount of protein in it, but as far as how much cats like it? 10/10.

The cat I bought this food for doesn't like it (of course) but my other cats really seem to like it. My cat who always refused to eat any dry food went nuts over

The cat I bought this food for doesn't like it (of course) but my other cats really seem to like it. My cat who always refused to eat any dry food went nuts over it. It was the first time in years that she would eat dried food. So it varies from cat to cat. I recommend introducing the food gradually, by mixing it in with their previous dry food.

3 out of 4 of my cats eat this daily. And this is the only food that 1 of them will eat. This is not an exaggeration. After he had several teeth pulled, I had to
