All Blue Buffalo products are manufactured in the United States. Many of their ingredients, such as most grains and meats, like chicken, beef and turkey come from the United States. Lamb and venison can be free range from the United States or New Zealand. Rabbit is sourced from Europe, and trout can come from the United States or Canada. Where possible Blue's suppliers are instructed to source their ingredients from the United States. Where the ingredients are not readily available in the United States, such as many vitamins and minerals, their suppliers will only work with reliable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of the ingredients are sourced from China.

my 14 year old shiba eats this with a fresh pet topper and since switching her dry food, i can see a noticeable difference in her. its been about 3 weeks and after 2 weeks her mobility has improved and shes much more energized. i never write reviews on chewy but im happy to see how well its worked for her and would say it is definitely worth a try if you have an old pup.

Not Satified

I switched to the senior since my dog is going on 10 1/2 years old. He hates the little dark pieces and spits them out. It's like he's not getting satisfied. He won't eat much at all unless I mix a hard-boiled egg or chicken with it. I'm going back to the regular. He always ate that and didn't act like he didn't get satisfied.

Best so far

Was having trouble finding a senior food for our four. Even our male who would eat dried up flowers from my Thanksgiving cactus wouldn't eat other foods we tried. Got this because our little Fannie is small and only has five teeth. We still have to give her an enticement med and I boil chicken and mix a little in the food but it's much better. Have since transitioned the bigger dogs to the regular size kibble. Didn't want to waste any more so got little bags to sample.

Good for older dogs

Although blue berries are supposed to be good for dogs, she throws the dark kibbles on the floor and won't eat them. Otherwise, she eats the food every day. I do add cooked chicken and veg to her kibble, however.

Food is great! Delivery sucks

I explained the issue from my last delivery so now I just canceled my auto-ship! Why in earth would someone not deliver my dog food at my front door? Instead the person places it totally away from my house, across the parking area, in front of a stored trailer. And you charge for delivery!! This is ridiculous! Sorry Chewy! This is my last experience with you. The food is great, but you have nothing to do with that.

My senior dog loves it!

I recently decided to switch over to Blue Buffalo for my dogs. I've heard many good things about Blue Buffalo products and felt it would be a better choice than the dog food I was currently buying. From the first bowl full my senior dog has loved the food. She is a grazer, but eats this food much quicker than the other stuff. I'm very happy with this food and will continue buying it for her.

Had to mix it with a tastier food

Neither of my dogs are particularly crazy about this. I definitely have to mix it with some homemade. If it's not completely coated with the mixture, they will spit out the pieces on the floor. Will find a different food after this is gone.
