Blue Buffalo foods and treats are manufactured here in the USA. They source as many ingredients as possible from the U.S. Most of their grains and meats come from the USA. There are occasions when they source meat from other countries. For example, the lamb can be free range from the USA, Australia or New Zealand. When the ingredients are not readily available in the U.S., such as vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, their suppliers work with only reputable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of their meats or grains are sourced from China. All of their ingredients are USDA or FDA approved and inspected as applicable.
What is the age cut-off for adult to senior, as well as, what is in the dog food that makes it good for that particular age group

Adulthood in dogs begins between one to three years of age. Seniority in dogs begins between six and ten years of age.
This adult stage dog food is formulated and balanced to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance. Blue Buffalo dog food will be formulated and balanced for that specific age group.
