Is this catnip for horses?? My horses would not even wait for me to finish opening the box before they tried to grab some of this alfalfa. All 4 of them loved it including my picky senior gelding. The quality is apparent. It looks and smells great and it arrived fresh and ready to feed. I will definitely be using more of it over the winter.

It smells absolutely amazing as alfalfa should! The flakes came apart easily and the box held up to the way which is always a plus. My only complaint about the hay
It smells absolutely amazing as alfalfa should! The flakes came apart easily and the box held up to the way which is always a plus. My only complaint about the hay was how dusty the leafy parts had become. My animals loved it and I would shake it out a little bit as I pulled it out of the box and save all the little parts to feed later.

My horses are obsessed with this Blue Mountain Hay easy flake box. seriously, they’ll leave every other kind of packaged hay sittin’ in the feeder and go straight for this stuff every single time. You can just tell it’s fresher and softer, smells amazing too. The flakes pull apart super easy so no big mess and no fighting with a bale string. Plus the box makes it easy to store and keeps it nice. I’ve tried all kinds of packaged hay over the years and nothing even comes close. my herd has spoken, it’s Blue Mountain or nothing around here!
