How wide is the material?

Is the webbing soft, stitches non-poking? We have a Bichon who acts like we've beaten him when we want to put on his harness..the only thing I can feel is the webbing is fairly stiff and its sewn with small fish leader type thread..many be this sticks him ??

The Blueberry Pet Classic Solid Dog Harness is made of nylon fabric with strong, high density webbing. It is not a stiff harness and should not poke your pet.
how to put on harness properly?

This is a step in harness. Your pet's front legs will go through the two openings on the front of the harness and it will clip in the back.
Does it rub and chafe?
