Worth the Money
Collar came personalized as requested with no errors. It is a well made collar with good hardware and strong stitching. There is lots of room to adjust the collar. This type of collar is a little different since it slips on and off over the dog's head. We used the sizing chart and the collar fits well.
no buckle!!!
i made the same error as a couple other reviewers, since i had bought a personalized blueberry pet collar before and knew i liked them. this one does not have a buckle!!! you will need a calm dog to take it off/put in on since you have to have it around their neck when loosening or tightening
Collar does not have an open/close fastener
This needs a fastener. Didn't realize it's slip on/off and must be adjusted while on the dog. Wouldn't have ordered if I had noticed.
blueberry collar
This collar seems to be of great quality, and it provides a nice looseness for my dog, with the added loop I was looking for, unless she pulls ahead on a walk. The only thing I was disappointed in, is when I sized the collar down to fit her, you can't read the complete phone number on the collar. ( It was difficult to pick the right size to buy, because the next size down may have been too snug on her neck, according to the measurements.
Absolute worthless garbage
Does not have a buckle. Most awful product I have ever seen. Complete waste of money.
READ CAREFULLY
love the color so I can see my brown dachshund in the woods but DID NOT READ that this was a training collar!!! No clasp!! He is wearing it because I personalized it BUT buyer beware!! Thought I saw a clash in the picture, my fault I guess!
Horrible Design
My bad for not paying close enough attention to the design of this collar before ordering. There is not clasp to open or close, you literally have to put it on the dog to adjust, which is all fine and good if you have a calm dog but not when you have a hyper cattle dog mix puppy. It was a DISASTER, thought we were going to have to cut it off of her because she got it into her mouth and there wasn't a release. So leave it to your imagination how that could play out before purchasing.
Be Careful About Thread Color
I chose what I thought would be a dark blue thread (Dark Cyan) because it was listed between Black and Dark Violet. It's almost the same color as the collar and close to invisible which was the opposite of my goal. I feel kinda dumb for not looking it up; however it would have helped to have a view of the color choices. Because it's personalized, I don't think it's returnable. I'm very disappointed that the personalization is very hard to read. Back to doing my own with black magic marker:( Wish the Frisco collars came in more colors - that would be my recommendation.
Martingale Collar
My dog slipped out of this collar backward over his head, because apparently the loop that keeps it tight, slides and loosens on its own. So, check it frequently because otherwise it will get larger on its own and too large for the dog's head and neck. Or consider taping it at the desired size to keep it from slipping on its own. That is my plan. This collar is no longer available on Chewy, so this may be why.
DANGER! NO CLASP
As stated in the other low review, there is no clasp. It is unsafe to use. My bad for not seeing this
