This product is supposed to help keep tartar off of teeth and help with fresh breath. Not sure about the tartar but after a couple weeks of using I can definitely tell it helps with a fresh breath.
Since began adding 2 capfuls per 20 oz water as per instructions, my 7 yo cats' bad breath has improved. Cat with previous tooth extractions had a good checkup! Both drink the water, no problems to my knowledge, although another water bowl without the additive is available in other room. Our new rescue dog, who needs teeth cleaning, has also started drinking their water so hoping his breath will improve!
I put this in my cats water and I noticed that my cat wasn’t drinking like normal so I decided to taste the additive. It’s bitter it is like vinegar I don’t recommend this.
This oral care has helped my 16 year old puggle a lot! Once I started using this I noticed a lot of tartar was chipping off. I give her dental chews and brush her teeth too of course, but this has really helped her. She’s too old for dental surgery so it’s a life savor
All this did was make my cats want to drink out of MY cups because they knew something was in their water. I had to give it away - I had no use for it. Didn't help at all :(
I started using this product to help our 6 year old Labs bad breath. I believe it helped almost immediately. I put one capful in every fresh bowl of water daily. He doesn’t seem to notice. I’ve been using it for a few months. It’s working! The bottle suggests two capfuls, but on advice from a friend, I’m using less because previously I tried the full amount and he wouldn’t drink his water.
My cat has bad teeth. Since starting her on this, they are no longer getting worse. My vet had given me something similar at her check up a little over a year ago, but I couldn't find the same one online or anywhere. I bought this one because it looked the most similar. He says her teeth are doing well for now, but she still drools and has stinky breath. It's better, but she's always had pretty stinky breath. (She also has dental treats and toys) All three of my cats would drink it even when given the option of regular filtered water. I use it in a cat water fountain, and it does make it frothy as the water runs low. That goes away when it's refilled and maintained properly.
I haven't used any of these liquid oral care items until I purchased this. I figured I'd give it a try because the cats and the dog have some awful breath. I added 2 capfuls of this to the cats water fountain and they all seemed to drink a lot more water that day. The fountain was pretty low the next morning. I was expecting the water to either foam up or perhaps the cats wouldn't like the taste - neither occured. I also added 2 capfuls to the dog's water bowl and she lapped it up. After about 3 days, I noticed her breath was much better and she wasn't smelling so bad. I am getting her teeth cleaned later this year, but will continue to use this stuff. I did notice that all the animals stopped drinking the water that is treated after 4 days. I was adding a capful each day to the water as I refilled the bowls. They were preferring the untreated water bowl outside. Now I only add this product 1x a week, after cleaning the bowls.
I was going to give a good review , but the review geniuses won't let me use short nickname , headline . Then they state my review was to short. So blablablablablablablablabla
We previously tried Tropiclean flavorless brand and our 2 dogs just couldn’t get past it. They would only drink the bare minimum they needed and we had to stop using. Figured all products were probably the same and so we stopped using the additive. After not great dental reports from the vet decided to give this one a try. We had used the other type and they were off water. Changed the water out and immediately one of them drank a ton of water, as if it was untreated. Glad we finally found a product they don’t mind.
