Love this raw hide bone

Our ‘twins’ went nuts for this chew! Titus and Nova are both big chewers. They’re a mix of Pitbull and Jack Russel, so strong jaws and endless energy! This treat not only enticed them immediately, but kept them engaged for a long time! We made sure they got to take turns because we know how siblings can be when it comes to sharing. We gave our smaller pup a chance to chew on it too, but it’s definitely too big for him—he’s a big chewer for his size, but he’s a Schnauzer mix. If you’re shopping for a smaller breed like him, maybe try the 4” option. Other perks of this rawhide: no flaking like some basted varieties, no staining from dyes, nothing artificial added. Only downside (isn’t really a downside): it’s listed as being for small or medium dogs, but we felt it was too large for our 30 lb dog to safely get in his mouth.

Durable and long lasting chew

The chew is a good size for my larger pup. It has no foul odor and does not stain my rug like some other chews. Rawhide-based items are not my go-to but I was interested

The chew is a good size for my larger pup. It has no foul odor and does not stain my rug like some other chews. Rawhide-based items are not my go-to but I was interested in trying it since it is made in the USA. I supervised my dog and after one hour of intense chewing the bone did appear to have changed shape or shrunk in size. This chew is a good value for my family bc I have issues finding a chewy that lasts more than 5 minutes. My pups gives it two paws up.

With the mixed thoughts about rawhide for your dog, we were hesitant to try this product. However, our special needs lab mix hasn't figure out how to navigate a stuffed Kong and we wanted to have a high value treat for him while his brothers got their frozen goody. He is not a destructive chewer, so we felt comfortable letting him work on the bone while we were home. The only catch, he didn't like it. Would kindly take it from me and then promptly drop it. His younger brother thought it was an excellent find. He is a much more aggressive chewer and after just a couple of minutes had made significant progress, so I took the bone away from him. The product was accurately described, three stars only because my guy didn't like it.

Top Quality Rawhide Bone

I gave the Bones & Chews 6" rawhide bone to my largest dog since it is too big for my other dogs. He is a rescue, and apparently had never had a rawhide bone before

I gave the Bones & Chews 6" rawhide bone to my largest dog since it is too big for my other dogs. He is a rescue, and apparently had never had a rawhide bone before. He is warming up to it, and has started carrying it around with him and gnawing at it. It is a substantial bone and appears to be of high quality. It is made in the USA, which is comforting because you never know what ingredients could be in imports. It contains no artificial colors or flavors. It gives him something to chew on, and is supposed to help keep dog's teeth clean. I believe as he gets used to it he will chew it more often. Hopefully it will last a while because he can go through squeaky toys in no time. I would recommend it based on its quality and value.
