I was very excited to try NAD+ for my dogs! These Boops Pets Longevity & Anti-Aging Peanut Butter & Chicken Flavored Soft Chews Supplement are shaped like hearts and break easily. I broke off the proper dosage (instructions on label) for my dogs weight then crumbled it over their food. Both of my picky senior dogs ate it with no problem. These are supposed to help with cellular energy, cognitive function, muscle health, enhance metabolism, reduce inflammation, and overall support healthy aging. They are made in and sourced from the United States which is a plus for me. They are also human grade, gluten free (made with real pasture raised chicken). Just like with human supplements, it take 4-6 weeks to really notice changes so don’t expect overnight results….however, I have noticed an increase in energy after just a couple weeks and both my senior girls seem more alert. I’m happy with the results so far and look forward to more results after a few more weeks of taking this consistently.

The treats are soft, which I appreciate, and they’re a good size for dogs 15 pounds and up. My two smaller dogs (around 9 pounds) can still enjoy them if I break the treats in half, which works well. Overall, a good option if your dog enjoys peanut butter style treats, especially for medium to larger dogs, but picky eaters may not be convinced.

The only reason I am giving this product 4 stars is because my 11yr old Aussie won’t touch it, so it may not be appealing to picky eaters. However, my 5yr old Golden & 5yr old Beagle absolutely love it even though my Golden has been known to be picky with other supplements.

I had serious doubts about this product but we have been using these Boops Pets longevity chews for the past year. I take NAD supplements for myself so I had to buy these soft chews. Initially they didn’t have any effect but after 2 months, they have had such a big effect slowly and done wonders for Lulu, my golden retriever. If your dog is 8 years old, that’s 60+ human years and you need to start thinking how to prevent further aging and give your dog energy. Lulu lost interest in so many things and didn’t even have the energy to climb up stairs. She’s even playing fetch and acting like a puppy again. Lulu is about to celebrate her 15th birthday next month. I know there’s no way to prevent the inevitable, but I’m just happy that these soft chews can help Lulu enjoy her final years with more energy and be more happy.
