how heavy of a dog can be attached to this?

This dog stake is suitable for small to medium-sized breed dogs. On average, small breeds weigh about under 35 pounds and medium breeds weigh about 35-65 pounds.

One of the pictures shows a cable with the stake. Does this include a cable? And if so, how long is it?

A cable isn't included with this dog stake.

How do you bury it in the ground?

To bury into the ground, place the point at the ground, and then push and twist the stake until it begins to bury itself. Stop twisting when the stake is fully in the ground. Before using, make sure to check and make sure that the soil around the stake is not loose.

Will this work at the beach?

I really liked this tie out stake much better than the cork screw ones.

I got this stake for my dog. It went in the ground really easy and has stayed put. The top ring swivels so the chain can too. I really liked this one a lot better

Sturdy and functional

Stakes firmly into the ground - my pup won’t be able to make it budge. Semi flush to the ground - does not interfere with landscape. Pivot mechanism works great

Does the job it is made for

I use this for a dog less than 25 lbs when we are camping or at the beach for the day. We haven't had any problems with it.

Great for the price!

It does it's job. For those that complained about it not coming out, I used a rubber mallet with a hook on the other end for camping stakes and I have no problem

Best review I ready was that once it is in place it wont come out. My primary reason for purchasing, so my dog doesn't get away

Dome stake tie out.

After I got it in the ground I couldn't get it out I had to use my 4 wheel scooter to pull it out then it was bent so it couldn't be used again not that I would
