Monogramming a good idea!
My mini schnauzer is often on the borderline of S and M, at 20 to 123lbs. Measured and bought a size S, and was a little concerned it could be too small when initially received because it was stiff, and therefore difficult to adjust, but I think it is fine. Occasionally contractors will leave a gate open and she will escape for a little thrill ride, and I think the monogrammed name and number make it easier than trying to read her tags for her contact information. It took longer than I expected to receive in the mail because of the monogram.
