Gets attention but not correction

It gets results.

We have 3 dogs, 2 are seniors. They developed the habit of running to the front door and barking incessantly at anything that passed by. They wouldn't respond to

We have 3 dogs, 2 are seniors. They developed the habit of running to the front door and barking incessantly at anything that passed by. They wouldn't respond to my commands so I had to do something. I REALLY dislike using a mechanical device but I found this one. The next time the dogs gathered for their front door barking session, I used it. The button was pushed once, gently and very quick. All 3 dogs quickly lowered their heads, stopped barking and left the front door. I was amazed. I haven't used it since until this week when the youngest dog wanted to bark. I just quickly pushed the button again. Immediate reaction of stopping and leaving the area. Unbelievable and no harm to my dogs.

Recently took in an adult schnauzer that had never had a yard to play in. Needless to say she was an obsessive barker. After just 2 days of corrections accompanied with positive reinforcement praise she is enjoying the yard without making the neighbors mad. Love that it doesn't harm her just a perfect distraction.
