It's an overall solid item however I had two reservations about them (having used them for a few weeks now): 1. We had an incident in the first week of usage where the "Shock" function stayed on for over a minute despite my hands not being near the remote. Thankfully, I always use thea shock collar on the highest setting with my leg/arm to get an understanding of what my dog is going to experience (also might explain why women live longer than us). I just noticed my dog frozen in place, and when I went over to stick my hand between him and the prongs, it stung me. It's a pretty significant issue but because I'm always within earshot of my dog, it's a risk I am willing to take now that I'm aware. 2. At it's highest shock level, it's not as "poignant" as the Patpet I used previously (of course, response to the shock is different for each person), and the vibrate/noise functions aren't very strong either on a full charge. In the case of point #1, it was a good thing. Positives are it's sleek design, affordability, and there is a feature to "disable" the shock from being accidentally pressed manually (unsure if it can prevent the remote from the #1 point stated earlier, I'm not willing to test that).
Perfect timing
