I love the whole concept of the Anti-chocking device that holds the Bully stick. I got my 4 month old Golden Retriever puppy the large because I thought she would soon outgrow any size smaller. The Bully sticks are low odor, and hope they stay that way once puppy starts chewing on one! I did only give 2 stars because once having in hand, it still seemed like a lot of money. I also must not have read carefully enough because I thought the storage jar was going to be glass. It’s plastic.

Great for bully stick enjoyers

I was really impressed with how well this worked for my dog. I like this kit because it comes with the holder, a small bag of bully sticks (that are a decent size!)

I was really impressed with how well this worked for my dog. I like this kit because it comes with the holder, a small bag of bully sticks (that are a decent size!) and a nice canister to store the sticks in. It's easy to place the bully stick in the holder, just twist the end until the stick is held tight. The holder gives my dog something to hold onto while chewing and I think he actually enjoyed it! He even carried the holder around after he finished his bully stick. The only con I will say is that you definitely want to take the holder away when your dog is done because mine was able to get a few chew marks in before I was able to get it.

We love this thing! I have three small dogs, including a new puppy who LOVES to chew on things. One thing that always concerns me is the last little bit of a chew that could cause a choking hazard with my babies. This is perfect because it gives me the peace of mind to have a safe chew time even if I step away for a few minutes. The functional design makes it easy for my new puppy who is learning how her body works to hold onto the chew. Same for my elderly chihuahua, he can hold the device down on either side of it and be able to chew on a bully stick a lot better than he could before. Will definitely be ordering more so everyone can have their own! It also came with a cute plastic container to keep all my stick chews in. This is worth it to keep my babies safe while they play.

This kit is a success! My 2-year old Miniature Schnauzer LOVES this chew toy. Being intelligent and energetic, he can be destructive. But, this kept him busy for hours. And, because the safety holder prevents him from swallowing the bully stick, I did not have to worry about him choking. (Plus, he instinctively knew how to use the holder.) I was surprised to see that my 12-year old Pembroke Corgi loved this chew, too. Being a senior dog, she does not typically enjoy chewy treats. But, she really loves this one. (One stick kept her occupied for several days!) This kit comes in a variety of sizes, so you can pick the size that best fits your pup. (I recommend SIZE SMALL for Pembroke Corgis and Miniature Schnauzers.) This kit would make a wonderful GIFT because it comes impressively packaged. The chews are natural and they come with an attractive storage canister to keep them from drying out. The holder is high quality and comes with simple instructions. Any dog lover would be thrilled to receive this beautiful kit as a gift. I highly recommend the Bow Wow Bully Stick Starter Kit.

This chew toy is a success! My energetic 2-year old Miniature Schnauzer LOVES this chew toy in size SMALL. Because he is young and intelligent, he gets bored easily and becomes destructive. But, this chew toy keeps him busy for hours. And, he instinctively knew how to position the "holder" in his paws! I was surprised to find that my 12-year old Pembroke Corgi (who does not like chew toys or chewy treats) also LOVES this Bully Stick Started Kit, too. (Size small.) One stick lasted DAYS for her! I think this kit would make an ideal gift because it is impressive. The Bully Sticks are well packaged, and they come with an attractive, plastic storage canister that prevents them from drying out. The rubber "holder" is durable and well made. And, there are simple instructions included. Pet owners that receive this as a gift will appreciate that this kit is designed to keep dogs SAFE by protecting them from choking. I highly recommend this Bully Stick Starter Kit.

It's a great product to be had, but the jar is a non-essential add considering the packaging is resealable. I loved the stick holder as it added some stability during his chew session. The bully stick holder is made of pretty hard plastic that seems to be easy to clean so far. My favorite feature is the level of safety this product adds to my pups chew time. I would recommend for an added level to your babes enrichment activities!

I was expecting it to be a softer, more chewy material rather than a hard plastic. I am however giving it 3 stars because it works as intended by holding the bully stick in place and maybe some dogs would like it more than mine
