How do you calibrate it?

The calibration procedure is listed below. 1) With the scale switched off, press and hold the “ON/OFF/TARE key, without releasing press the kg/lb key three times and then release. 2) Display will show zero (500~4000). 3) Press “ON/OFF/TARE” key once. 4) Display will show “CAL” and then “0”. 5) Load 20kg/40lbs weight onto the scale. 6) Display will show span count (1250~3750).. 7) Press “ON/OFF/TARE” key again. 8) Display will show “CAL” and then “20.00 kg”. 9) Remove the weight from the scale and the calibration is finished.

This scale has a weight capacity of 44 pounds or 20 kilograms.
Does this measure to the accuracy of 1 gram?

This scale reads by 10 grams increments and cannot produce anything smaller than that. It will not do 1 gram.

Frustrating To Use And Inaccurate

I spent a lot of money on this because I wanted to be able to accurately weigh my cats. The first frustrating with it, is that to use it, it describes a calibration procedure that requires you to have an exact amount of weight, and of course, it doesn't supply you with such a thing. The calibration process is also poorly described. Without calibrating it, I may as well use my cheap bathroom scale... it's actually more accurate than this is. Very much regret getting this. It's clearly made for vets and industrial usage, not a consumer product.
