Bright Ways for Pets to Play

Brightkins treat puzzles and treat dispensers provide your pets with mental enrichment and stimulation as they try to find treats and kibble in the hidden compartments. Each product is designed with safety in mind using BPA-free materials.

Treat Puzzles

Multiple hidden treat compartments challenge your dog to sniff, lick, and paw his way through snack or mealtime! These puzzles also help fast eaters slow down, and each puzzle comes with a training guide written by a professional dog trainer.

Treat Dispensers

Brightkins treat dispensers add a brain-teasing challenge to snack time. Sniffing and licking can help keep dogs calm, and 20 minutes of sniff work is equivalent to a one-hour walk. Their two-piece design makes them easy to clean, too.

Brightkins Tough and Tumble

Made from durable, non-toxic rubber free from latex and BPA, Brightkins Tough and Tumble toys are safe for dogs who are tough on their toys. Great with treats or kibble, they provide a bouncing, wobbling challenge for dogs of all breeds and ages.

About Brightkins

Brightkins paws-on interactive toys and training tools unlock pets' curiosity and engage the entire family. After nearly 40 years designing toys that make learning fun for kids, they’re excited to bring learning to life for your furry family, too.

So 2 of my 3 dogs figured out how to open it with in 5 minutes or less. The other dog rolled it around for an additional 5 minutes then realized the other two had snapped the bottom off and devoured the treats already. I do like this and will continue to use it but I am now putting the cactus upside in the freezer and freezing things to the top then putting other things in layering it so they have to pick in there and try to get it out and or wait for the stuff to dethaw. The cactus and base are very sturdy material and my dogs seem to like chewing on them both.

The picture isn't loading unfortunately, but basically the bottom part of this was chewed into a bunch of little pieces. (I'll try to add photo on my computer later) I have 2 bulldogs - the first one figured out how to roll it around for treats for a while until she was tired... then the second came in and got right to business. The bottom is a hard plastic, but not hard enough for my girl's commitment to finding the cheat code. So this could have been a choking hazard, definitely monitor your pet and take it away when they are done! And i wouldn't recommend at all for strong chewers.

I was searching for a replacement for a similar toy that dispenses kibble and keeps my dog engaged for up to 30 minutes, but is rubbery and doesn't make a lot of noise when she's pushing it around her pen. This cactus toy's plastic is too hard and it makes too much noise. I also wish the product description included the measurement of the holes. This cactus toy releases the kibble my dog likes too quickly. So in my quest to find a toy that was simultaneously not super noisy and would keep my dog's brain enriched for 20 or so minutes this toy didn't not check either of those boxed.

Probably better for smaller breeds

My 10 month old Anatolian Shepard mix did ok with it for a few minutes, using it as expected. My 3 and a half month old Pyrenees mix figured out how to open it for

My 10 month old Anatolian Shepard mix did ok with it for a few minutes, using it as expected. My 3 and a half month old Pyrenees mix figured out how to open it for treats in under a minute. Older dog took the cactus part and now can't use it because he chewed through the seal before I could get it from him.

Fun and active meal time

My food motivated Aussie loves this toy! When the weather is poor or she needs some extra mental work we put her meals in this. She will roll it around for 30 minutes

It is well made and easy to clean

My pet loved it as the treats fell out easily, too easily for it to be a challenge, perhaps, i need to find something larger to stuff it with.

Not worth buying

The hard plastic bottom is small and not safe for dogs. Teeth marks/ indents showed up with my dog just playing with it and not chewing on it.

Didn’t last 5 minutes

My lab/ pit mix had this torn to pieces in just a few minutes. Not for tough chewers.
