Does it take a little bit to fill out?

It is recommended to allow 24-48 hours for expansion of this bed.

This bed is shredded memory foam as answered in a previous question. Is the shredded foam glued together to make a continuous piece or is the bed stuffed with tiny pieces. If it is not a continuous piece what keeps the bed uniformly padded.

This bed features a 3-inch layer of orthopedic shredded memory foam fill that eliminates pressure points and increases breathability. When the outer cover is removed from this bed, the shredded memory foam will be enclosed in its own casing to prevent the foam from spilling.

Is the ZIPPER hidden and protected by a good flap, so dog won't find it?

This bed is extremely hard and very uncomfortable. Whatever side, my dog lays on pushes down and stays there. I have to unzip it and try to move the insides around

This bed is extremely hard and very uncomfortable. Whatever side, my dog lays on pushes down and stays there. I have to unzip it and try to move the insides around and to get it to even back out. This is very difficult as it is hard and dense. I would not recommend and I’m sorry I purchased.

The shape

When we recieved this it was packaged so tight it was kinda flat but after a few hours it was a perfectly soft plush pillow. I have yet to notice any denting either

Blew apart in wash

Had to wash the whole bed in the washing machine when a pup threw up on it and it soaked right into the memory foam. The first time the zipper came undone and exploded

Had to wash the whole bed in the washing machine when a pup threw up on it and it soaked right into the memory foam. The first time the zipper came undone and exploded memory foam chunks all in my washer. The second time I rigged the zipper with a safety pin and the bed itself ripped and exploded in the washer. Yes, I know the cover is removable and washable alone, but when something soaks into the memory foam you need to be able to get it out. Other beds I have not had an issue with when this happens.

As soon as my humans put this bed in my kennel, I felt comfy and right at home! It’s the perfect size, keeping me snuggly and calm, even when they’re away. I love how plush and soft it is, and even though I’m a bit on the heavy side, it holds up perfectly under my weight. When it gets full of my fur (which happens a lot!), my humans can easily slip the cover off to wash it, so it always stays clean and fresh. I wouldn’t want to sleep anywhere else!
