Only dog bed I buy
I discovered this dog bed about 4 years ago when my dog was a puppy. He's 4.5 now and 75lbs. My dog had an ACL tear at only 6 months old and I knew that would lead to long term joint issues/arthritis. This bed is extremely supportive and firm. I actually took a nap on it yesterday and it was just as comfortable as my bed. It fits perfectly in my dogs wire crate, and has a removable, washable cover. I have 2 of these (size large), one for a window seat we built my dog and one for his crate. I replace them every 2 years or so to make sure the padding is cush, but they are by no means broken down. The covers stay in good shape and I cover the beds with fitted crib sheets to help with allergies. For the price, I don't think you can find a better bed.
Waterproof on top only
Dog had an accident on top. While the top w/cover is waterproof, the liquid rolled down the side and soaked into the mattress a bit. This isn’t fully waterproof as described.
Brindle Bed
I never write reviews but this is by far the best bed I’ve ever had for my dogs. It’s so thick even I can lay on it and not feel the floor. My 70+ lb dog has had his for a couple months now and it hasn’t gotten squished down at all. I wanted something to cushion his joints as he gets older and I’m so happy I found this. The cover is super easy to take off and on for washing. I’m buying a second for my other dog because she keeps laying on his lol.
The covers are thin and easily bitten through.
I bought 4 beds at 1 time. Sad that I did. On first day my dog chewed a whole. Fabric on the cover is very thin, not at all durable for a dog. I reached out to brindle to ask if they had replacement covers but they never replied.
Waterproof Dog Bed
I received the Brindle Waterproof Orthopaedic Dog Bed with a removable cover and love it! It is everything I expected and would buy another when this one wears out.
official safe spot
This goes in my puppy's crate at home for bedtime and travels with us for road trips as his official safe space and bed. Loves it. 40lbs 5 mo old.
Disappointed
We have used this bed and bought it many times before. Today, when we removed cover to wash when it arrived, the bed is dirty and used. Very disappointed and cannot use it.
Meh-Not Wearing Well
We bought this to place in our border collie's crate so he'd be comfortable when crated, which isn't very often. We've had it less than a month and it already looks worn. He doesn't chew on it and is in crate less than an hour a day so for the price I'd expect better quality. I wouldn't buy this again or recommend

The pillow bed is very comfy and well made , our 1 yr old dog hasn't chewed it up & he loves to chew
Great Dane approved
My 110lb Dane hasn't destroyed this yet in the several months that we've had it. She has some incontinence, so I supplement the waterproof-ness with a washable pad underneath the cover. She does dig sometimes in an effort to "fluff" the bed, but she hasn't managed to scratch up the cover yet. I just wish there were extra covers so I could put another on the bed while the other is in the wash. It's been washed several times and is still in great shape and still fits the bed.
