Brindle Bed
I never write reviews but this is by far the best bed I’ve ever had for my dogs. It’s so thick even I can lay on it and not feel the floor. My 70+ lb dog has had his for a couple months now and it hasn’t gotten squished down at all. I wanted something to cushion his joints as he gets older and I’m so happy I found this. The cover is super easy to take off and on for washing. I’m buying a second for my other dog because she keeps laying on his lol.
Disappointed
We have used this bed and bought it many times before. Today, when we removed cover to wash when it arrived, the bed is dirty and used. Very disappointed and cannot use it.
Meh-Not Wearing Well
We bought this to place in our border collie's crate so he'd be comfortable when crated, which isn't very often. We've had it less than a month and it already looks worn. He doesn't chew on it and is in crate less than an hour a day so for the price I'd expect better quality. I wouldn't buy this again or recommend
Great Dane approved
My 110lb Dane hasn't destroyed this yet in the several months that we've had it. She has some incontinence, so I supplement the waterproof-ness with a washable pad underneath the cover. She does dig sometimes in an effort to "fluff" the bed, but she hasn't managed to scratch up the cover yet. I just wish there were extra covers so I could put another on the bed while the other is in the wash. It's been washed several times and is still in great shape and still fits the bed.
Love this bed, but my dog doesn't
I think this is an absolutely great bed. It looks and feels comfortable, nice color, soft but sturdy cover. But my dog will get on it for a few minutes, snuggle in and jump off of it in less than 5 minutes. She has never slept in it. She prefers an old wrinkled blanket or the cheap, thin mattress that came from the dollar store. She will even curl up into the tiny little thin bed she had as a small puppy rather than sleep on this beautiful bed. Don't understand why. Plan to donate it to the shelter.
The "waterproof" cover held in moisture and caused mold growth
We bought this bed because it said it was waterproof. My dogs loved it and after a month of use, I took off the cover to wash it. The waterproof cover underneath showed mold growing all over the bed... In theory it made sense but the "waterproof" cover held in all the moisture. My dogs were constantly itching themselves and I couldn't figure out why, I thought it was allergies. But after throwing out this bed and replacing it with our go-to Midwest orthopedic beds, my dogs were scratching their sides far less. We'll be sticking with Midwest beds from now on since we've had no issues with their foam growing mold!
Worst Dog Bed ever Purchased
Foam was melted to about a hard inch at one end and then opened up to about 3 inches at the other. Will never purchase this brand again.
Best Dog Bed We’ve Had
I love that the cover comes off to wash and it’s held up great! (Until we got a husky but he destroys everything)
Exactly what I was looking for
I actually bought two of these. I have a geriatric pug and we sometimes have accidents, but need a comfy bed for the joints. I pop a soiled one in the wash and there is a clean one for her to enjoy. Exactly as advertised.
