Questions & Answers

I like this incubator a lot but what about turning the eggs!? I have Mandarin duck eggs coming and I need reliability which I know Brinsea is known for! Please and thankyou!
Answer by ChewyNov 23, 2020
This incubator does not automatically turn eggs. Mark each egg with a pencil “X” one side and “O” the other. This ensures that you can see which eggs you have turned. Turn three times a day starting on the second day. Always turn about the pointed end to reduce the chance of damaging the internal structures of the egg.

Can you add a turner to this model?
Answer by ChewyJan 13, 2021
A turner cannot be added. However, there is a Mini turn kit that can be purchased separately through the manufacturer.

Great incubator for a newbie

I’m a newbie to incubating and I wanted a forced air style one. After lots of reading, I decided on this one because the brand seems great and 3 year warranty. I also got the semi-auto manual turning kit too. I’ll update my review after my first hatch - wish me luck!
