Great muzzle. Seems sturdy and will hold up in time. Working on softening the leather (preference) - my 3 bigger dogs can all use this although they are not all shepherds. It does fit the best on my Shepherd/Lab mix. It’s very versatile sizing wise and can be made bigger and smaller easily and efficiently. It fit securely on my husky and mastiff too!

We typically use another basket-type muzzle on our 130# rottie, but we were willing to try out this heavy-duty professional version. Axel didn't have a problem with this one - it allowed for more snooter air flow and was better secured on his head. The leather straps and padded nose guard are nice additions; you definitely want to do a quick test run to pre-tighten the top strap for easier placements. Once we did this, the muzzle was super easy to put on and take off. Highly recommend.

This muzzle feels sturdy, although it doesn’t fit my dog accurately the wider pant room is nice for him while we train muzzling, it allows space for him to practice
This muzzle feels sturdy, although it doesn’t fit my dog accurately the wider pant room is nice for him while we train muzzling, it allows space for him to practice putting the muzzle on and off without it being tight, the straps feel sturdy, the metal is very sturdy and I’d trust this muzzle to work if it fit my dog correctly. It’s soooo important to measure your dogs accurately for muzzles, I was unfortunately off in my measurements for him but it’s still a useful tool and would work in a pinch

Them metal cage part of the muzzle is made of heavier gauge metal and fully protect the muzzle. My dog did not care to have the muzzle on; she kept taking her paw over her head trying to get the muzzle off, the muzzle fit so well she was not able to get it off. I would highly recommend this muzzle to anyone with a German Shepherd!

Nothing
It didn’t fit and I had it strapped as tight as it could go. He could take it off with his paws. It was German Shepherd size and Adalwolf weighs 108 so I ordered

Too heavy
This item is much too heavy and very clunky for our large breed dog. I need to return it for a mesh net muzzle which our vet recommended instead.
