How do I measure my dog for a muzzle?

To measure for this muzzle, we recommend measuring the circumference of your dog's snout at its widest point. Then measure from the tip of the nose to 0.5 inch below the eyes to determine snout length.

This seems to be a well-made muzzle, however it wasn't a great fit for my 9 month old black lab. We tried for several weeks, a few minutes each day, to try and ease him into it but he is not having it. I think the hard metal of the muzzle is the biggest turn off. He may do better with a soft material type muzzle being he's so young. The main thing we wanted to use it for was bark control since he's not aggressive and isn't a bite threat. Overall seems a good product but you'll need to evaluate if this type of muzzle is the right fit for your dog.

My dog is not a bite risk, so this review is written with that in mind. She is, however, a dog and all dogs have the potential to bite if in pain! Muzzle training is so important for that reason, so if there’s ever a situation where you need to keep a dog and people around them safe it’s not more stressful. This muzzle is a great option to have on hand! You can easily feed treats through the muzzle while it’s on and my dog can also drink while wearing it. I recommend this muzzle as a good option to keep at home for as needed use!

The vet required a muzzle for my GSD who snapped at her. The muzzle was very easy to put on, seemed comfortable because the dog is able to wear it for up to an hour (we started at 5 minutes and worked up). The dog is not able to get it off and is unable to bite.

The metal part of the muzzle is thinner then expexted. Even when measuring, this muzzle did not fit my dogs Comfortably. I could get it on their snout and it fit

I could get it on their snout and it fit but since it cannot be shaped or molded and my dogs faces are wide they were bothered by it. Overall a good muzzle if you do not have an extremely aggressive dog or a dog with a wide face or snout
