    This is good seed!

By CrazyBirdLady on Dec 1, 2020

There appears to be no filler seed in this. I mix it with a finch seed with cranberries and a basic seed for the winter. It appeals to a large array of birds and is nutritionally dense.

    Attracted Woodpeckers & Nuthatches

By DeepSearch on Oct 27, 2019

I got this food because it's a good price and I hoped it would attract new birds to my yard. Previously I was using black oil sunflower seeds in my hanging feeder and the only birds that came around were house finches or the very rare goldfinch. After trying this out I saw some small white woodpeckers right away. I'm pretty sure I identified white-breasted nuthatches, hairy woodpeckers, and downy woodpeckers. I also noticed butterflies liked visiting the feeder, for the raisins I assume.

    Truth in the Name!

By Jessie on Mar 6, 2019

We bought a new house on a former base. Not a lot of trees, or songbirds. I heard a chickadee, so I bought a feeder and this mix. Hung it in our apple tree. They came! They feasted! One chickadee has claimed us as his and will vocally defend his feeder. Haha.

    Chicadee Nuthatch Bird Food

By Beachken on Feb 3, 2019

In Redondo Beach birds are plentiful. The 'Finches Finest' works well at attracting small birds. The Chicadee Nuthatch food is even better. I got birds I've never seen before.
