I have a pair of cardinals that would only show up once a year around Christmas and New Year. I buy this feed, and the pair were back. Not only did the pair come back, I also had another pair plus one join them. I see them now more than once a year, since I had bought this particular feed.

AND I actually like that the shells are pink and blue, because it's easier to see where the birds are cracking the seeds at and I can clean up the shells easier :)

Blackbirds love it
Only the Blackbirds would come and eat it all the others either didn't care for it or they were afraid of the Blackbirds. It does leave messy colored shells all

Don’t waste your money. The birds are picking out the shelled sunflower seeds and ignoring the rest of the mixture. The red & blue dyed sunflower seeds are littered

I was concerned at first because of the color in the birdseed , but that bag doesn’t even last a day in my backyard so the birds are very happy and squirrels.
