Smell is bad

I’m used to the smell with bully sticks, but this was on another level. Gave my dog one in his kennel and the odor transferred to his bedding and his coat. It was

I’m used to the smell with bully sticks, but this was on another level. Gave my dog one in his kennel and the odor transferred to his bedding and his coat. It was gross. Smelled like rotten fish. I threw the rest of the bag away. Maybe got a bad batch but I don’t think I’ll buy these again.

These are too difficult for them to chew but at the same time they are not giving up on it either. I’m giving it a 5 star because they really like it but at the same time I can see how they are struggling to chew it. Is there a thinner option of this, I wander. Not even sure yet if I’m going to keep it or return. So far all they do is keep throwing it in the air and carry it like a stick around the house.

My dog is only 20 pounds and I have to get him the jumbo ones that he carries around. He hauls them and drags them on the floor, but that poodle can buzz through those things as good as a retriever he love

They ALL wanted one!

I can't seem to afford enough of these sticks for my pups. They are VERY expensive, but they LOVE them. I will only give them about an hour chewing on them each

I can't seem to afford enough of these sticks for my pups. They are VERY expensive, but they LOVE them. I will only give them about an hour chewing on them each day. If they go longer, then their poops suffer. That is the one thing that is a little frustrating. My pups might get some diarrhea from chewing on them from time to time. It's not every bag, it's only the ones that stink really bad when I open them.

Dog loved these!

Great for power chewers. My dog loves bully sticks, and these were no exception. They do have a bit of a smell, but nothing that bothers me even in the same room

These bully sticks are great. I have a 9 month old husky who loves to chew. It keeps her busy for a while. I use a large Kong to hold the stick. .

My dogs love these and these seem to be the best buy compared to the other brands (it is more cost effective to buy the 10 count bags, though)

These were recommended for our dogs from a breeder. The dogs enjoy them. These are 1000 times better than raw hides.

Like that they are a natural product. My power chewer (boxer/retriever mix) got through with one in 15 to 30 minutes...So kind of expensive for short life. The only thing I've found so far that holds up to power chewing is the base part of Moose antler.

First time trying these bully sticks from Brutus & Barnaby. We’ve been on the hunt for bulky sticks lately & have been trying all kinds of brands. My dogs have certain health diet concerns & restrictions so we’ve been on the hunt for natural one ingredient types of treats. (Or at least healthy ingredients) Since they enjoyed Brutus & Barnaby’s sweet potatoes, I figured their bully sticks would be great. Upon arrival, they were quite small. 6” is usually a decent size for them but these were very small & very thin. Not sure if it was just my batch or if its standard for their brand, but the bully sticks were relatively on the thin side which made it look even smaller. They were so thin, it didn’t fit in our size small bully stick holders. We’ve had other brands where the sticks were thicker so 6” in length were perfect. But these were thin which made 6” in length look very small. Especially for their price. The quality of the sticks was decent. There’s no initial smell to them but once they are chewed on, the bully sticks definitely omit an odor. Not too foul but not pleasant either. We won’t be purchasing these in the future since we now know how thin these are. Seems perfect for smaller pups like Malteses, yorkies & etc. But for my medium sized pups, it’s a choking hazard & a waste in my opinion. But we do love their brand.
