Description

Buck Bone Organic’s Jumbo Split Elk Antler Dog Treats are the perfect reward for pups who love to chew! Made with real elk antler, this eco-friendly treat is free of chemicals, bleach, dyes and formaldehyde. The antlers are split in half revealing the marrow core for a delicious chew that is softer than whole antlers, making them ideal for gentler chewers. These nutrient-dense treats are rich in calcium, phosphorus and protein and the texture helps clean teeth and massage gums. Made without any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, these organic chews are a low-odor mess-free option for dogs of all ages.

Key Benefits
  • Made of 100% all-natural elk antler.
  • Processed with absolutely no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
  • Split antler is softer and gentler on the teeth than whole antlers.
  • Low-odor mess-free chews made without chemicals, bleach, dyes or formaldehyde.
  • American made in Bozeman, Montana.
Precautions

Please provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. Because this is a natural treat, its sizing, color and appearance may vary this is normal. You may also notice a natural scent and oil while your pal chews; this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. To prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet's safety.

Please remove the antler from your pet before it becomes small enough to swallow, too difficult to chew, or if your dog try's to bite down instead of chewing (this will prevent hurting your dog's teeth).

    Great distraction

By RoosMom on Sep 29, 2021

This worked really well for my heavy chewer. Unfortunately, she gets bored with it too quickly, that is the only reason for the 4 stars. I'd give it 5 if it would it keep her interest for longer.

Split Bone Exposes Marrow for Enticement, but Still Really Tough Chew

By Nekilof on Jun 22, 2021

I have a 25lb dog that is a "light chewer". She immediately went after the marrow in the middle of the antler, but even the marrow is pretty tough. The outside is much harder too. She gave up pretty quickly on them because she couldn't chew easily though the marrow (she's more of a bully stick/pig ear eater). I still would say this is a great product that's organic and made in the USA, but definitely designed for stronger chewers than she is. I also really like the way the antler is split as it will entice stronger chewers to go after that marrow. Just didn't work out well for my dog.

    Antler bones

By Buckbone on Jun 11, 2021

My Gsd liked them more when she first got it, as the marrow center was chewed down it began to loose her attention. She would sleep with it and lick it, but the point was to clean tartar off her teeth since dogs can't do fluoride unless sedated. Overall if the goal is to chew to knock off tartar and keep her quietly entertained then I would say fairly effective.

    Splintered almost immediately

By Erica on Mar 1, 2021

Antler chews usually last weeks to months in our house, but both of my dogs managed to bite large, sharp splinters from these within the first 2 days and I had to toss them. Disappointing, especially considering the price.

    Great for chew time

By Rizz on Feb 21, 2021

My pup loves to chew, so looking for something to keep him occupied for awhile. This chew was great compared to full antlers which he usually loses interest in.

They are Big and Last (For Us Anyway!)

By Laks on Dec 19, 2020

They are expensive but they have lasted 2 weeks, more than i can say for any other chew, 1 horn is almost gone, the 2 of them were persistent in whittling it down and the other I presume will last another 2 weeks. The add on bonus is that its natural - whew! one thing off your plate :-)
