Flimsy Component broke w/in 3-4 weeks
I got a new giant breed puppy in August 2021 and bought this collar in anticipation of his fast growth, wanted to be ready, and love the GD Dancing Bears. Great buckle, thick collar, largest size. I started using it on him maybe 3 weeks ago and was at the dog park this week and noticed it hanging loose. When I tried to tighten it I noticed that the small thin component that is need to adjust the collar was snapped in half. Pretty scary since we walk to the dog park and cross a very busy road. I would like to speak to a rep of this company about getting a free replacement with a more sturdy component as it makes no sense to use a cheap part for such a beautiful collar that is for a giant breed. I've never had this happen, even with cheap collars, and all of my dogs (currently 3) over the years have been large or giant breeds. The rest of the collar is solid, and I particularly love the buckle, but it is useless if it cannot be adjusted/hold the adjustment. I am quite disappointed. Now am forced to use his old $8 collar and it is very tight but at least has held together. My recommendation for this collar depends upon the company's response.
Order a size up
the collar itself is amazing quality, buckle works well and the design is awesome (deadhead here). i ordered it in a size that would fit my puppy, but when we tried to put it in him it didn’t even fit his neck. he’s only 26 pounds so you can imagine how tiny this collar is. otherwise a really cool and unique product.

This is one of the cutest collars I’ve ever seen, it’s just VERY heavy. It’s really well made.
not for arthritic hands
this is a well made collar but I am unable to open it. I really wanted to like this but if I can't even open it without it being around my pet's neck what would I ever do to get it off him.

Perfect for Giants
This collar fits wonderfully. Our 180 lb. English Mastiff measures a 30" neck, so we got the large. We still have plenty of room room to lengthen. This is a hefty, well made collar and the seat belt buckle ensures that it won't bust open accidentally. Great purchase!

Mom got me this way cool Grateful Dead dancing bear collar. I'm a Deadhead too so I'm really happy to be representin'! It's well made and the price was reasonable. WE LOVE CHEWY!
