It fits well with the adjustable length, and he doesn't seem to mind the extra weight of the seat buckle type closure. However, I feel the width of the collar in the smaller size could be less. My Beagle is 30 pounds, and his collar is as wide. So, if your pup is a bit huskier, this is a great choice.

This collar is very well made and the unique buckle is a great idea. However, the buckle makes the collar a little too heavy for my dachshund. If I had a medium-sized dog it would be no problem, but for my 10 lb doxie it doesn't work. I wish it did because I really do like the collar and concept!
