Buckle-Down Marvel Comics Polyester Dog Collar, Large: 15 to 26-in neck, 1-in wide

I have to say first that I was looking for a more comic book type of Marvel design than the movies etc. This collar fit my needs the closest of the Marvel options. I was however concerned/disappointed when looking here that it appeared to be dark in color as opposed to brighter colors. As if it was tinted perhaps to create a more vintage look but it’s the closest I could find for what I was looking to buy. I can report that it is NOT as dark in person as it is on the site. It’s not necessarily bright and bold blues, reds, yellows etc but not as dark as it appears here online. Sorry I didn’t take a pic of it. I LOVE the collars that have the old fashioned seat belt buckle design rather than the other type that have the 3 prongs that click in to lock and then you have to squeeze the ends to slip it out and unlock it. I’m sorry I don’t know what they’re called. I don’t personally think there’s one that’s more secure than the other and although the prong type comes in plastic they do make both types in metal. The button on the seatbelt locking mechanism has the Marvel logo on it and the rest of it is silver. I have a mini-Australian Labradoodle, Rollo, he weighs just 12.5lbs and I got the size SMALL 9-15in Collar which is 1in wide. When I opened the package I thought maybe it was going to be too heavy for his little neck. It is not. In fact he doesn’t seem to be doing anything different than with the previous 5/8in wide collar with plastic buckle. His neck is 10-11ins. 12in collar comes off over his ears and head with any resistance on his part. I did not actually measure his neck. Just measured the length of his current collar as it’s set and had a collar that was 12in at its smallest and was too big. An educated guess is all that was necessary. I’ve got his rabies and HomeAgain Microchip tag already on it. Just waiting for a specially customized id tag from TagsForHope to arrive. I can hardly wait.
