Size
To get the most accurate size collar for your furry best friend, measure the center of their neck a with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pup’s neck.
We recommend if you have a toy breed or small dog, add an inch to the neck measurement. For medium and large dogs, add two inches to the neck measurement.

This collar arrived quickly and looks like the photo. Unfortunately, it's way heavier than expected - too heavy for my elderly miniature poodle, even though it's the right size for her. That's totally my fault for not realizing this belt buckle is fully metal. It's a cute design, but probably best for larger dogs, despite coming in a variety of sizes. Ah, well.

I absolutely love these. I originally purchase one because my big boy, Rex, was constantly breaking collars. That being said, he had one of these bad boys for SIX YEARS without damaging it. It never failed us. He has since slowed waaaaay down. In his old age, I try to keep things as familiar as possible for him so when I decided to buy a new collar, I wanted it to feel the same. He didnt actually need a new one, the old collar is still sturdy and reliable, just heavily faded. But, if you have a strong dog, these will save you a lot of trouble. I recommend them to anyone/everyone. I have included a comparison photo of the 6 year old collar vs the new one for anyone wanting to see how they wear.

I liked this collar at first but it didn’t take long to start wearing down my flat-coated border collie’s fur. My dog loves playing in water so the moisture between the collar and my dog’s neck might have been part of the problem. it’s also kind of heavy so would take a while to dry after getting wet. It also started to smell terrible and I couldn’t get the smell out even after washing it a bunch of times. Would wash it and hang to dry and once dry it would smell terrible. Anyway, we’ve retired this collar after months of trying to make it work for us and my dog’s fur started growing back immediately so that’s a relief. P.S. this collar definitely seems too heavy for small breeds. I don’t know why small breeds are included in the sizing chart at all. Seems kind of misleading.
Button hard to push
The collar is nice, love the design and colors. Heavy duty and all but the button is hard to push. Maybe it will wear in but I’m not looking forward to struggle

I love this collar!!! Just don’t get a wide unless you have a very thick dog, or an extra large breed. It’s a big bit on my boy! Next time I’ll get a medium.

My pitbull is 9 months old and has a bad habit of trying to destroy all his collars and harnesses. I purchased the wide collar and luckily, he seems to actually enjoy this collar and finds it comfortable. Love the buckle, makes things much easier to secure. My only complaint is that the wide collar doesn't properly fit the black adjustment thing. Overall, very satisfied with this product and definitely would recommend the 1.5-inch collar to anyone with a "heavy-duty" dog.
