I got the medium and they are about 5.5-6 inches long and 1 inch wide. They are paler in color than some of the ones I've gotten from other brands, which is what my dog seems to prefer, so happy about that! Haven't given them to him or my dog-nephew yet (they're a Christmas treat!) but I'm sure they will be a hit! After your pup chews it down to a couple inches, soak in water 5 minutes and then microwave and let cool for a safe puffy treat!

I tested this chew on 7 of my dogs. When I pulled it out of the bag they did not smell, they were larger than I thought and they are hard. I thought my dogs would

I tested this chew on 7 of my dogs. When I pulled it out of the bag they did not smell, they were larger than I thought and they are hard. I thought my dogs would devour them, but it lasted them a couple of days as they are hard like bone. 5/7 of the dogs enjoyed them. I have a chow chow who is picky and sometimes even chooses to skip meals. She took it and it looked like she was guarding it, but she allowed another dog to snatch it. She may have liked it a little bit. My largest dog, was excited to get a treat, but ended up dropping it and had no interest. All of my 5 other dogs enjoyed it, my husky didn’t let me come near him and he thought I would steal it! He was running around with it guarding it, while my spaniel mix was trying to steal everyone’s. My chow mix who has bad teeth loved it, didn’t seem to bother his teeth. Overall I think it is a good treat and keeps them distracted for a long time as it is long lasting. I also like that it is only 4 ingredients.

I wish I'd been aware that these yak treats have the power to override your dog's personality (not joking). While clamped down on the yak treats our dog became snarly, posessive, and scary to be around. It was literally all we could do to get him to focus on anything else, including going outside to potty. We tried a second time thinking perhaps some of the novelty might have worn off. Nope. The "other nasty dog" returned. We have banned these from the house. Buyer beware.

I love Himalayan Yak Chews for my puppers. They are made with minimal ingredients that are easy to digest and last longer than most dog chews. The medium size was perfect for my medium sized Aussies. It keeps my dogs busy so they don’t follow me around everywhere while I’m cleaning. Most of the time my girl has a sensitive stomach with other chews but these don’t bother her at all. I highly recommend these chews.

Not a hit.....

I have two dogs both are nine years old. One is a Scottish Terrier about 25 lbs, the other is a Pit Bull/Labrador cross about 95 lbs, Both of them expect a treat

I have two dogs both are nine years old. One is a Scottish Terrier about 25 lbs, the other is a Pit Bull/Labrador cross about 95 lbs, Both of them expect a treat when they come in during the evening. I thought these would be the perfect goodie for them to settle in with. I was astonished that both of them ignored the treats. They each gave it a sniff and walked off. Didn't even bother to take it. I have tried to present the treats at other times, with the same result. So now it sits on the floor next to their dog bowl. To it's credit, I find the treat smells nice.
