Semi win. Bundle Joy Golden Dry Dog Food

I really liked that this food uses cage free chicken as the number one ingredient. It is always nice to see quality protein listed first. The packaging is great, and I especially like the velcro style closure instead of the typical plastic zipper. The kibble size is just right, a little smaller than a dime, and both of my dogs, one 12 pounds and the other 17 pounds, manage it easily. One of them loved it right away while the other was not as enthusiastic, though it did not upset his somewhat sensitive stomach. I also appreciate that this formula includes probiotics, which are always helpful for keeping digestion and stool quality consistent. The food smells fresh and appetizing and overall, it seems to be a good quality food. My only real downside is that it is grain free, which is not ideal if you have read up on current research about canine nutrition. I also noticed the crude protein is 28 percent, which is a bit high for dogs that need a lighter diet or have weight management concerns. Because of those two factors, I probably would not purchase it again, but otherwise it seems to be a well-made and good quality food.

My dog loved the taste but had allergic reaction

I have 2 tiny dogs. A 6 lb Maltese and a 10 lb Yorkie. They both loved the flavor of this kibble, and I only gave them a few kibbles to slowly introduce the food

I have 2 tiny dogs. A 6 lb Maltese and a 10 lb Yorkie. They both loved the flavor of this kibble, and I only gave them a few kibbles to slowly introduce the food. My Maltese almost immediately began to salivate and flicking his tongue in and out. This has never happened to him before, he is generally healthy and not sensitive to anything I’m aware of until now. My Yorkie is fine but because of the reaction my Maltese had, I choose not to allow them to eat this kibble. I donated the bag so that another dog can enjoy it but this particular food didn’t work for us.

A week and a half ago, my Bonnie lost her sidekick of 9 yrs. Trying to get her back to normal hasn't been easy. Getting her to eat has been a nightmare. The Bundle x Joy golden Cage Free Chicken recipe came at the perfect time. It smells great, is the perfect size bites for my 12yr old Bonnie, and appears to be quite tasty as quickly as she ate it! She's eaten more the past three nights than she had since Will passed. Tonight she wanted more. I'm impressed with the ingredients--cage free chicken! We may have found a new staple in our home.

Easy on the tummy

I fed this to my small senior mutt. As she’s gotten older, her stomach has gotten more sensitive to new foods. However, she took to this new kibble with no issues, so it seems gentle on the stomach! The kibbles themselves are small (similar to the end of a pencil) so they should be okay for even the tiniest dogs. I really appreciate the addition of probiotics to support my dogs gut health.

I also really liked the closure to the bag, it worked really well to ensure an airtight seal to keep the food fresh. Another added bonus, is that it’s a women owned company and they donate to other women owned companies! Love that!

My doggy has enjoyed this food so far! I love that the first ingredient is chicken. He weighs close to 90lbs so I do wish the bag came in larger sizes than 18 lbs
