I’m using this as a back door mat rather than with food and water bowls. It’s what I was hoping for - heavy, stays in place, collects dirt and water when it’s raining
I’m using this as a back door mat rather than with food and water bowls. It’s what I was hoping for - heavy, stays in place, collects dirt and water when it’s raining. It’s a nice looking mat and isn’t so thick that we can’t open the back door, which is an issue we’ve had with some other rugs/mats.

Our German Shepherd insists on dunking his face in the water bowl and making g a huge mess. We’ve tried just about everything (special water bowls, fountains, trays, towels, etc) and I’d just about given up on ever having dry floors again, but this did the trick. We placed the bowl on the is and it catches all the water and keeps the floor dry. Bonus points for being cute. Highly recommend.
