Do these treads have glue backing to secure them to the stair?

These treads does not feature a glue backing. They are built with a real rubber backing for a firm grip.

Will the secure tightly on concrete steps

These stair treads have rubber nubs on the back to hold in place, but we have heard many use a double sided sticky tape to secure.

My dog often tracks mud in from the yard into the house. Would these rugs also double as a paw wipe of some sort if placed on the deck stairs leading in the house? Can they catch mud and dirt?

We bought these to put on our wood floor stairs so our older dog would have an easier time getting up the stairs. We’ve had these for about 6 months and our dog

We bought these to put on our wood floor stairs so our older dog would have an easier time getting up the stairs. We’ve had these for about 6 months and our dog seems to like them and has an easier time going up and down the stairs. In the past I had bought some carpet pads for the stairs that ended up sticking to the wood floor which took hours to get unstuck. These carpet pads are great in that respect. I can easily pull them up with no problems. I will probably buy more for other areas in our house.

Amazing!

So easy to use! I just popped them on my stairs and they stair there. I can take off to clean if the vaccum isn't getting it all but love them. When we removed

So easy to use! I just popped them on my stairs and they stair there. I can take off to clean if the vaccum isn't getting it all but love them. When we removed the carpet the dogs kept sliding down the stairs- this prevents that. I was afraid they would slide but they haven't yet and w've had them for almost a year.

The flooring gave my dog the confidence to walk up and down the stairs without sliding and falling. After a few weeks of use, the flooring still has a slight hump, but flattens out against the steps when walked on. The hump is not that noticeable, maybe about 1/4 of an inch now. All in our household are very pleased with the function, the color, and the texture of the flooring.

These help to keep the dirt down in the upstairs part of the house.

I like them. They stay in place pretty well and eliminate slipping on the stairs. Mojo still will not go down the stairs but that is not the stair treads fault!

Nice treads, shipped rolled so they take a while to flatten

These are nice treads, they don't move (much) on the wooden stairs, and we now feel much safer walking in socks, and our dog appreciates them. But, they were shipped

These are nice treads, they don't move (much) on the wooden stairs, and we now feel much safer walking in socks, and our dog appreciates them. But, they were shipped rolled up, so they don't quite lay flat. We're hoping the edges flatten out over time. Shipping review: horrible, but I didn't want to ding the product itself. 2 days late, box was torn open on both ends, and the treads were just stuffed inside, no wrapping, no protection. Since we ordered 3, the box was long enough to ship them flat. Store and ship flat, would solve almost everything.

Our 2-year old Boykin Spaniel suddenly began to balk at climbing our wood stairs that have open risers. We had to pick her up to carry her up the stairs; this became cumbersome as she is 32 lbs. We purchased one set of these (4 count) to put on the first 4 steps. To get her used to them, we fed her for about a week by placing the food on the third and then fourth steps and helping her get to it. Once she realized that she was not slipping on the wood steps, she started climbing up unaided, and then she got to where she would climb unaided and unattended anytime she wanted to head upstairs. Once she gets going on the first 4 steps, she doesn't hesitate, so we don't think we'll need to buy these for all of our steps. The color and quality looks good and so doesn't detract from the overall decor.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED!

My Bichon could not get up the slick stairs until I got these and they are great! My stairs are stained in a dark brown, and I was thinking of ordering the Camel

My Bichon could not get up the slick stairs until I got these and they are great! My stairs are stained in a dark brown, and I was thinking of ordering the Camel color, but went with the darker tone and I was shocked that they are the exact same color as the stairs! I used double sided carpet tape to secure them instead of tacing them to the wood because if I am having a formal event, I can take them up easily.
