I love this conditioner. It's made my dog's coat very soft and smooth. Burt's Bees products can be thinner than other brands but shaking them as recommended will help give them a thicker consistency. I like that the smell of their products is subtle but pleasant and gentle on my dogs. I get complements all the time about how good my dog's coats look and feel. I like to apply the conditioner and work it into their coat using a brush and/or grooming gloves and let it stay on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it out. It leaves their coats incredibly soft. Love this product and the gallon size is the way to go.

This conditioner is a thin liquid. It’s the density of whole milk. It doesn’t spread like a conditioner. It didn’t make my mini poodle’s hair soft. After her bath,

This conditioner is a thin liquid. It’s the density of whole milk. It doesn’t spread like a conditioner. It didn’t make my mini poodle’s hair soft. After her bath, she had more snarls than ever. As if the quality of the product wasn’t bad enough, the neck of the gallon container was smashed when it arrived. It was shipped in the same box as cat litter with nothing to protect the gallon container. The cat litter won that round. I was able to open the jug, but I’m so disappointed in the quality that I plan to pour it down the drain.
