Does this dog conditioner help with tangles and matted curly fur or should I look for a more specific detangling product like the leave-in?

Shampoo is ideal for cleansing and removing dirt/impurities, while conditioner is for nourishing, moisturizing, and de-tangling the coat. You should use conditioner if you would like your dog's coat to be extra soft, shiny, and smooth. The two products are most effective when used together, one after the other. The Burt's Bees Lemon & Linseed Oil Detangling Dog Spray is better suited for in between baths.

After shampooing with Burt's Bees Oatmeal Shampoo for dogs, apply conditioner liberally. Work from head to tail, while carefully avoiding eyes. Leave in for 3-5 minutes. rinse thoroughly and towel dry.
