I put this in my Lesser Sulphur -Crested Cockatoo's cage and filled it wit colorul fruit pellets. Benji seems to have figured out how to pull on the leather "pulls"
I put this in my Lesser Sulphur -Crested Cockatoo's cage and filled it wit colorul fruit pellets. Benji seems to have figured out how to pull on the leather "pulls" to release the pellets but hasn't really taken any pellets out of the feeding area. I think the openings to retrieve the treats might be a bit small for his beak to reach in. The feature I don't care for is the lack of ease of cleaning. There is no way to open up the toy in order to clean it. Cockatoo's are vety dusty. I guess you would have to submerse it water and wait for it to air dry. For those readons I have only given it 3 stars. It does seem sturdy. He hasn't broken it yet but I don't know how much enjoyment he has gotten from it.

This bird foraging toy is larger than expected. It is well made and challenging for birds. You fill the top and in order for them to get the treat they need to pull
This bird foraging toy is larger than expected. It is well made and challenging for birds. You fill the top and in order for them to get the treat they need to pull down the leather cords. It is a bit too large for a cockatiel but would be great for a larger species such as cockatoos, macaws, African grey, etc. I help my cockatiels a bit and they can access their favorite millet treat from it.

Parrot in Love!
I was very hesitant at first about this product as my parrot is very particular with toys, but after a couple days he started foraging for pine nuts and almond slivers

Great choice for enrichment
I primarily chose this toy because of the African Grey pictured. It was alittle hard to fill, but overall, it was a great choice for my own African Hrey, Echo
