Ok, so I accidentally ordered the large size of this toy, I have a budgie (parakeet) BUT I decided to keep the toy! This thing is heavy, well made, and comes with a chain/hook strong enough to hold it!! Instead of hanging this toy up I decided to put it on the floor. Before I knew it my little budgie was all over it, she seems to really like the “gumballs” on the toy the most! You really can’t go wrong with this no matter what size you get, it’s durable enough to withstand many beak sizes!

It's pretty good, but it could be better! The "gumballs" are tied into place, but if they were more easily put back in, this would go from a "pretty good" toy to "amazing"! My birds are slowly working at taking all the pieces out, and I'm not sure how easily I'll be able to get them back in. If the pieces were as easy to take out and put back in as, say, keys on a ley oard, this would be the best bird toy ever.

I got this toy because it’s rated for cockatiels, it’s super cute and looked like they would enjoy chewing it. It’s definitely well made and has very sturdy hardware,

I got this toy because it’s rated for cockatiels, it’s super cute and looked like they would enjoy chewing it. It’s definitely well made and has very sturdy hardware, but the wood beads are too large for my conures and cockatiels. I think this would be great for maybe an African Grey or cockatoos, but it’s much too large for cockatiels which is how it’s described.
