This toy is made using strong stainless steel pear link.
Bottom came off and entire plastic drawers fell where our African gray was standing playing with the bottom underneath.

There is so much waste.
Pelleted is preferred, they always ate all of it. This stuff they pick and chose. Not sure they are getting the nutrition they need.

Our Small Cockatoo cycles through feeders regularly, and this is one of the better ones. The drawers have a piece in the back that is taller than the opening, so our bird can’t pull them all the way out. The drawers are a bit deep for a medium beak, so we had to stick a couple pieces of cardboard in them so he could reach all of his food. The drawers have a dip in the middle taken out for the stainless steel bar that holds the feeder together, so it’s not a full square and holds a little less food per drawer. Cant really fit whole nuts in it well. It wasn’t super hard for our Cockatoo to figure out. It’s fastened by a hanging chain to the cage, so it’s free swinging. It’s one of the louder feeders we have, since the drawers aren’t on a “track”, so when he grabs the whole thing they just kinda shake (but do not fall out). We also shortened the chain a little by looping it back over the pear link so it helps with the constant swinging and shaking. Durable plastic for a small/medium beak, not sure how it would hold up to a large beak as the sides of the drawers are a little thinner and look like they would break if pinched hard enough. He’s dented it a lot but no real functional damage. It functions pretty well and he doesn’t throw his food out of it and sometimes still has some left that he didn’t get to by the evening. He’s pretty entertained by it and it keeps him busy the longest of most of our feeders.

Doesn’t work as intended
The sliding doors get stuck, I can barely get them halfway open and haven’t been able to get them all the way open. I’m afraid the plastic will be sharp when it
