DANGEROUS

The sharp metal edges of this can tear your bird's crop open. I have seen horror stories of this happening and the company refuses to modify it stop producing this

DANGEROUS - DO NOT RISK IT

I'm posting on behalf of a Facebook bird group post in which the owner was pleading for help because her green cheek conure somehow managed to get his head underneath

I'm posting on behalf of a Facebook bird group post in which the owner was pleading for help because her green cheek conure somehow managed to get his head underneath one of the sharp blades that holds the cuttlebone, and it SLICED ITS HEAD OPEN. She had to take it to an emergency veterinarian and the poor thing didn't make it. She posted pictures of the injury and the bird when it happened and it was crystal clear that this is NOT SAFE for any small birds. I couldn't believe it at first and that the cut was so deep that it sliced the poor little bird's skull open. PLEASE I beg you, do NOT purchase this toy! These corporations don't care about your bird's safety! They make attractive toys that are decorations and not bird safe. Imagine losing your baby to a simple toy like this that's supposed to just hold a cuttlebone.. I'd be destroyed. And the POOR BIRDS are the ones who pay the price.

Sharp edges

The leaves that hold the cuttlebone have very sharp edges and points-and the tip of the leaf sticks out. Too dangerous
